Handshake is the official Career Services website for job postings and recruiting A-State Students. Companies register for Handshake and are approved by Career Services staff based on the following criterion:

All approved companies and organizations receive access to the following features:

Reading the company description and any other information that is given pertaining to who the company is and background information about the employer.
Looking at the trust score in Handshake for the company that submitted the job.

Post Jobs

The most effective way of filling vacancies is to post a job announcement on Handshake. Your positing will be activated by a Career Services staff member and advertised to thousands of student and alumni job seekers.

Attend Events and Fairs

Companies or organizations qualified to participate in the fall and spring career fairs would include those recruiting positions that require a four-year college degree.

Host Information Sessions

Information sessions at A-State allow employers to share their company information. Not only will students be more informed about your organization, but you will have an opportunity to meet potential candidates in advance of your recruiting visit.

Select Work Study Hires

On-campus employers can post and recruit for work study jobs as an employer in Handshake. Students will submit resumes online for your review.
