Vestibular Assessment and Treatments March 2015

Skilled in identifying a variety of peripheral edemas and understand the medical indications and contraindications of CDT. Facilitate treatment plans for individuals with chronic extremity lymphedema and other conditions and perform the treatment accordingly.

Biography

Dr. Amanda Mohler joined the A-State OTD faculty in July of 2016. Prior to her faculty appointment she practiced occupational therapy at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital, Jonesboro Arkansas where she integrated occupation-based theories to support individuals while promoting health and well-being and participation and advocating for quality of life. Dr. Mohler is certified in lymphedema care, driver safety, and a variety of geriatric specialties. She has developed scholarships with emphasis on driving simulation technology for adults and successful aging for the geriatric population. Amanda is the NEA District Chair for the Arkansas Occupational Therapy Association where she continues to advocate for the Occupational Therapy profession.
