Arkansas State University transitioned to a new employment system in September 2015.
All new and existing applicants will need to create a new account to apply or access their applications for A-State Jobs. Current employees should use their A-State email when applying.
How do I create an account? Select the position you wish to apply for to create a new account.
How do I apply to a position with Arkansas State University? Go to www.astate.edu/jobs and click on the appropriate employment menu.
How do I save my application if I don't have time to complete it during the same time period? You can select "Save Draft" at the bottom of any screen during the application process. Once you log back into your account, you will have the option to resume the application.
How do I know my application submitted? To view your application progress, log into www.astate.edu/jobs. If your application says "On File" it has been received. You will receive a notification if your status changes.
Where can I submit a resume? You may attach your resume during the application process.
Where can I submit my references? You may attach your reference list during the application process.
How do I make edits to my application? To edit your application, log into your application at www.astate.edu/jobs.
How do I remove myself from a position that I am no longer interested in? You can change the positions you applied for by logging into the system and viewing your My Job Page. There is a Withdraw button located on each position.
I accidentally withdrew my application, how can I get it reinstated? If you withdraw your application by mistake, you will need to submit your application again for the position.
I forgot my username and/or password. To reset your password, go to the reset webpage.
