A-State Testing Center Fee Payment Policy

A wide variety of tests are provided by the A-State Testing Center.  Most tests require payment on the particular test company platform, while other tests require payment through the A-State Marketplace app.  All tests fees must be paid prior to scheduling a testing session.

Accuplacer and CLEP (scheduling fee) testing require payment through the A-State on-line Marketplace app.  Marketplace accepts credit cards (MasterCard or Visa) and debit cards.  There is no processing fee for credit or debit card usage.  Marketplace does not accept cash; however, payment through personal electronic checks is accepted.  Electronic check payments require the customer’s routing and account numbers which are found at the bottom of a customer’s personal checks. For testing requiring payment on A-State Marketplace, A-State Testing Center staff will contact the student by phone and/or email to schedule an appointment once the Testing Center Office receives confirmation of payment.

Payments returned or denied by the credit/debit card holder or financial institution must be cleared within 10-days of testing.  Returned or denied payments not received within this timeframe will be reported to the A-State Treasurer’s Office for application of a student registration hold.  A student hold will prevent students from dropping or registering for courses; ordering transcripts; or applying for graduation until the outstanding balance is cleared.  Testing fees cannot be paid for by financial aid, but must be cleared directly by the student.
