Biography

As a native of the Memphis area, Dr. Medley completed her academic studies in special education (B.S.), psychometry (M.S.) and school psychology (Ph.D.) at Mississippi State University. She completed her pre-doc internship at LSU Health Sciences Center in the Louisiana School Psychological Internship Consortium in and around New Orleans. She worked several years in southeast Louisiana as a school psychologist in traditional, charter, and state direct-run schools. While continuing to practice, she served as Assistant Professor in Nicholls State University’s school psychology program before coming to A-State. She is passionate about training students to be prepared for the variety of problems a school psychologist is called to help solve in the school setting.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling for fun and mission work, and/or disaster response. You may see her kayaking around on the lakes and rivers of Arkansas.
