Welcome to the A-State Department of Music! For over 90 years, the A-State Department of Music has served Jonesboro and the Northeast region of Arkansas by being a center of artistic excellence, music education, and outreach. Our program offers degrees in the bachelor and master levels across a variety of musical areas and is home to over 300 dedicated and friendly students, faculty, and staff. We take pride in our mission to enrich the college experience through music and with over 20 ensembles to select from and one of the best scholarship programs in the region, we invite anyone regardless of major to join us.
