ASBTDC to Present Starting Small Business Training in Osceola

JONESBORO – The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) at Arkansas State University will continue presentation of its training event, “Start Your Small Business Now,” in Osceola, Thursday, Oct. 25.

The training begins at 10 a.m. and concludes at 12 p.m., and will be held at the Osceola Chamber of Commerce, 116 N. Maple St.

Business consultant Robert Bahn will conduct the training session and teach how to start a business the right way. Those attending will learn about essential startup steps, legal business structures, regulations and licensing, and key issues that affect business success. Bahn will remain after the seminar from 1-3 p.m. for one-on-one counseling.

The training is free and those who plan to attend should pre-register by Wednesday, Oct. 24, at 1 p.m. by calling 870-972-3517.

The ASBTDC center at Arkansas State University is a partnership of the U.S. Small Business Administration, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock College of Business and Arkansas State University College of Business.
