ASU Preliminary Campus Master Plan To Be Presented April 18-19

04/10/2012

At the end of January, Arkansas State University’s campus master planning team presented alternative futures for the ASU campus that considered different ways ASU could grow and change over the next 20 years. The team listened to feedback on what was liked best in each of these sets of ideas.

The campus master planning team will return to campus on Wednesday, April 18, to present the preliminary master plan, which is a first draft of a single vision for the campus.   Come to one of the meetings, learn about the draft master plan ideas, and provide feedback and suggestions.  There are three options for times and settings to find out about the preliminary master plan:

  • Informal stand-up discussions, 11 a.m.- noon:  first floor of the Carl R. Reng Student Union.  Come at any time; stay as long as you want.
  • Presentation, 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m.: Dean B. Ellis Library, Room 156 Auditorium.   Formal presentation and Q&A.
  • Presentation, 5:30 p.m.-7 p.m.: Jonesboro Public Library, Round Room.  Formal presentation and Q&A.
