Department of Music to Present Wind Ensemble in Concert
UPDATE: The Department of Music has CANCELLED this concert due to anticipated inclement weather.
JONESBORO – The Arkansas State University Wind Ensemble will present its first concert of the spring semester Friday, Feb 7, at 7:30 p.m. in Fowler Center, Riceland Hall, 201 Olympic Dr.
The conductor of the A-State Wind Ensemble is Dr. Timothy Oliver, associate professor of music.
Musical selections on the program include: “Two-Lane Blacktop” by James David, “Sketches on a Tudor Psalm” by Fisher Tull, “Requiem” by David Maslanka, and “March” from “Symphonic Metamorphosis” by Paul Hindemith.
