Medina-Bolivar is January Research Professor of the Month

JONESBORO -- Dr. Fabricio Medina-Bolivar, professor of plant metabolic engineering in the College of Sciences and Mathematics, is the January Research Professor of the Month at Arkansas State University.

Medina-Bolivar studies the medicinal properties of chemical compounds produced from plants, such as the peanut plant.

This new award is given monthly by the Faculty Research Award Committee to recognize scholarly, research or creative activity that is significant and relevant to the recipient's discipline at the national and international level.
