11/15/2017

JONESBORO – For those students who will remain on campus during fall break next week, the Multicultural Center at Arkansas State University is hosting a Day of Thanks dinner, Tuesday, Nov. 21, at 6 p.m., at the center located on the third floor in the Carl R. Reng Student Union.

“During the event, we will celebrate the contributions of indigenous people, acknowledge the diversity and inclusion present on our campus, and enjoy fellowship over food,” said Dr. Evette Allen, director of the Multicultural Center. "We encourage anyone who will not get the opportunity to be with family or other friends during this week to stop by.”

For meal planning purposes, RSVP to AStateMC@AState.edu. For additional information, contact Allen at evallen@AState.edu or call the office at (870) 680-4052.

The Multicultural Center, established in 2010, works to create a welcoming and inclusive campus environment by providing programming that promotes an appreciation for diversity, multiculturalism and social justice.
