Simpson Appointed Title IX/Affirmative Action Officer

JONESBORO – Chocoletta Simpson becomes Arkansas State University’s new Title IX/Affirmative Action Officer, assistant vice chancellor for human resources Lori Winn announced this week.

Working recently with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Jonesboro and in the grants and community development department of the city of Jonesboro, Simpson joins Arkansas State after working as a planner for the city of Jonesboro.

A graduate of A-State’s nationally ranked Master of Public Administration (MPA) program in 2013, Simpson also earned her bachelor’s in business administration from A-State.

Simpson will oversee the university Affirmative Action and Title IX programs, serving as the campus resource for faculty and staff.  She will guide educational and outreach programs for the Human Resource Office related to affirmative action and Title IX compliance.
