Softball Coach to Discuss World Series with Suite 301 Show

JONESBORO – Chris Powers, the head coach of Arkansas State University’s national champion softball club, will be featured on a live Facebook stream, Suite 301, Tuesday, June 20, at 2:01 Central time. To access the Suite 301 show, go to https://www.facebook.com/ccsSuite301.

Powers will do an interview about the Red Wolves’ road to the softball World Series championship in late May. A-State finished the season as the Mid-America East Conference and Regional champions with a perfect 12-0 record. The team went on to defeat two-time defending champ James Madison to take the overall crown. Pitcher Shea Cothren of Paragould was selected as the series MVP.

Suite 301 is the official Facebook page that provides a monthly broadcast of all events of CollClubSports. The show will highlight the 2017 National Club Softball Association World Series with game recaps, interviews and updates around the league.
