University Community Mourns Passing of Veteran Staffer Homer Hallett

JONESBORO – The university community extends sympathy to the family, friends and associates of former staff member Homer Hallett, who died Saturday. His daughter, Dominique Hallett, serves as government information & STEM librarian at A-State.
Hallett was employed on the university staff for 38 years, from 1965 until his retirement in 2003. He will be remembered for the dedication and craftsmanship he brought to his work as a printer in the university's Printing Services department.
The Dean B. Ellis Library tower will be lighted scarlet in his memory Friday evening, following the funeral service and burial. The complete obituary and arrangements are online.
