The 31st annual Arkansas State University Agribusiness Conference will focus on global commodity markets, the situation and outlook for agricultural economy, and the outlook for agricultural policy and the next farm bill.

Morning General Sessions
The general session begins at 8:30 a.m. and features five presentations:
- Matuschka Lindo Briggs, senior VP of the LR Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, will discuss economic conditions in the 8th Federal Reserve District.
- Dan Basse, president of the AgResource Company, will discuss global agricultural markets and outlook.
- John Anderson, director of the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service, will discuss current economic issues and the outlook for Arkansas agriculture.
- Mary Kay Thatcher, senior manager for federal government relations at Syngenta, will discuss the economics and politics of agricultural policy and the next farm bill.
