Scholarship Information

Students must accept the scholarship(s) on the ADHE YOUniversal website.
Students must verify that ASU-Jonesboro is listed as their school on the ADHE YOUniversal profile.

Newly Awarded Students:

• ASU will start receiving information from ADHE:
• Middle/end of July

Returning Students:

• ASU will start receiving information from ADHE:
• Early August
• Students must verify completion of renewal requirements.
• If summer hour(s) are required, the student must submit a transcript to ADHE after completion of the hour(s) {Transcript Code: 004851}.

Challenge/Lottery awards will be added to the ASU award screen after notification from ADHE. Awards will appear on the ASU award screen within 2 weeks.

All other programs:

• Enrollment must be verified after 11th class day.
• ASU must receive the funds from ADHE before awards can be added.
• Awards will be added approximately 4-6 weeks after classes begin

Awards vary in amounts. Full awards are determined by hours, housing, and meal plan. Partial awards depend on the award offer terms (i.e.-percentage or actual amount). Book Scholarship - please go to ASU Bookstore.

Awards are added (per terms and conditions of award) to the student's financial aid package upon notification to the Financial Aid and Scholarships office from the Department.

The Financial Aid and Scholarships office will add the award to the financial aid package (per terms and conditions of award) after the student has received an award letter from Development Office and signed and returned the letter to them.

All scholarships are added to the financial aid package (per terms and conditions) upon notification from the ASU Cashiers' window that the funds have been received. Students should make sure they have satisfied any/all requirements specified by donors (ex. Proof enrollment).

*Second type of identier (i.e. ASU ID)

Note: Scholarships that require billing are processed through Student Account Services (SAS) at 870 972-2285.

The Out of State Scholarship is processed through the Office of Student Account Services. The amount is equal to the student's out of state portion of tuition and fees will be credited to the billing statement.
