This camp will introduce to you the principles of journalism and build upon that foundation by reporting and writing local stories. Students will learn the basics of news writing, layout and design, audio reporting, video reporting, and photojournalism. You will sharpen your editing skills by using Adobe’s Photoshop, Bridge, InDesign, Audition and Premiere software to edit content. The camp is individualized to a degree because of each person’s interests and abilities. So, whether you’re new to journalism or looking to further develop your journalistic IQ, A-State’s School of Media & Journalism is the perfect environment to learn multimedia journalism in all its aspects.
