Banner 9 Implementation

Banner 9 (formerly known as Banner XE) is the newest version of Ellucian’s flagship ERP product line. Under Ellucian’s published schedule, upgrades for AState’s current 8.x version will be discontinued as of December 31, 2018 making migration to the new version necessary for regulatory reasons. ITS has been actively addressing preparatory requirements for the last 18 months and the more public part of the process is beginning. Significant dates:

May 11, 2017 – Initial meeting of Data Stewards and other leadership to discuss plans and process

Meetings are presently held on the first Wednesday of each month at 1:00 pm in the “Banner Bunker” Room 340 in the Library. Availability of the room for training and testing can be seen on the Banner Bunker calendar in Outlook. (Please reserve the room in advance if you and your group plan to occupy a significant portion of the computers so others will not waste a trip.) Hours subject to change due to scheduling of Distance Learning courses.

**Note: Room 340 is the designated Banner Bunker where you can bring your team to do training and/or meet. Computers and projectors are available in the room. It is available from 7am to 9pm. There is an attendant at the CVN desk area that can open it for you.
