Biography

Ms. Morris joined Arkansas State University in November 2020. Her career in higher education spans over 20 years and began at the University of Phoenix. She has worked with many distinguished universities such as of University South Florida, University of Tampa, and most recently Arkansas State University Mid-South campus just to name a few. Ms. Morris has held multiple positions within Academic Affairs, Student Services, Faculty Administration and Advising departments at her previous universities. She is an inspirational author, podcast host and life coach/mentor to many women and young adults when she is not supporting students within the School of Nursing.

She holds a Master of Management degree and has obtained several certifications for organizational, life & success coaching. Ms. Morris enjoys inspiring and supporting students during their educational journey. She believes it is her personal responsibility and mission to help people discover their life’s purpose and empower the limitless greatness within them. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering, exercising and is a HUGE fan of singer/musician Prince, whom she has seen in concert over 33 times.
