Cameron Buckley is a media artist working in as many different mediums as possible.  He co-founded and directs Paper-Thin, a virtual art archive and collective.  Paper-Thin is the preeminent hybrid virtual/material platform for artists working in digital spaces, and has been showcased around the world in numerous iterations.  Recently Paper-Thin occupied the Boston City Hall plaza in Boston, MA presented through a grant from MIT.

His published research primarily investigates the role of virtual and augmented reality in the classroom, particularly in a language learning context.  He is also an Italian cinema scholar, most recently contributing to the British Film Institute’s monograph on La dolce vita by Richard Dyer.
