Biography
Rejoining the A-State World Languages faculty in 2022, Stephanie previously taught collegiate-level Spanish at the University of Oklahoma from 2009 to 2012 and Arkansas State University in 2013 and 2014. As a Spanish instructor, she has taught many sections of elementary and intermediate Spanish courses as well as Spanish for Professional Use, directed novice and advanced conversation tables, planned cultural enrichment events and film screenings, and mentored language tutors in the departmental Multimedia Center.
Stephanie has dual master’s degrees from the University of Oklahoma in Spanish and in Public Administration as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Political Science minor, also from OU. She has completed additional graduate coursework in Education, Human Relations, and Heritage Studies. Stephanie is currently a member of the South Central Modern Language Association and the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese.
