Tutoring
Need help with College Algebra or even calculus? As a participant, you will receive individual or small group tutoring provided by qualified peer tutors who are familiar with the requirements and expectations of ASU professors. Tutoring will be available to participants in general education and major specific courses.
Advising & Counseling
Helping students navigate the system, decide on majors, develop better study skills and habits, learn about graduate school opportunities, and reduce their stress levels are just a few of the ways that the qualified counselors/advisors in the SSS program can help you become a successful college student. We understand that college students have needs other than academic and we want to assist you, whether it's through our program or our referral network.
Mentoring
If need is indicated, you will be matched with an upper-class student or faculty member who will provide additional services and support through our mentoring program.

Workshops are planned according to expressed student needs and will vary from semester to semester.
Cultural & Social Activities
As a participant you will have opportunities to interact with other SSS students and attend performances or activities that will enrich your college experience. Past experiences have included the National Civil Rights Museum, Fowler Center Productions, Broadway Productions at the Orpheum Theatre, ASU Theatre Productions, and Spring Break trips to New Orleans & St. Louis.

SSS participants may checkout laptop computers, reference books, ipads, digital recorders, calculators.
