What is Red Wolf Retreat?
If you are interested in being involved on campus, becoming a student leader at A-State or making new friends before Fall classes begin, then Red Wolf Retreat is for you! Red Wolf Retreat is a 2.5-day, 2 night program designed to provide incoming first-year students with an experience to help aid in the transition process to A-State. The program is facilitated by current student leaders, called Pack Leaders. The Leadership Center staff works closely with both the Pack Leaders and camp participants to create a fun and unique leadership experience. Participants have the opportunity to meet current students, staff, faculty, and administrators from A-State.
The first day of Red Wolf Retreat will begin at approximately 4pm, while the final day of the program will end at approximately 1pm. A more detailed scheduled will be provided to participants closer to program dates.
The Red Wolf Retreat program will include sessions on:
- Leadership
- History of A-State
- How to get involved on campus
- Benefits of being involved
- Skills for collegiate success
- College life
- Peer relations
- Teamwork
