A-State Set To Host Spring Career Fair

03/26/2014

JONESBORO, Ark. — Arkansas State University’s Office of Career Services is hosting a career fair with more than 80 employers, Tuesday and Wednesday, April 1-2, in Centennial Hall in the Carl R. Reng Student Union. Event time is 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The career fair is free for A-State students. Companies and organizations across a range of industries and disciplines will be highlighted April 1. The next day will focus on education and nursing and health professions. Professional dress is required.

“We are thrilled that employers see the value in hiring our graduates,” said Dr. Markel Quarles, director of Career Services. “Graduating seniors and students seeking internships are encouraged to meet with potential employers.”

Students are encouraged to research the companies that will be attending, bring copies of their resume, dress professionally, and be prepared to discuss their skills, qualifications, and interest in the company.
