ASBTC to Offer Classes in October for Small Businesses

JONESBORO – The Arkansas Small Business Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) will offer a series of sessions in October to help small business owners.  
 
The ASBTDC provides one-to-one confidential guidance to business owners and entrepreneurs. Primary areas of assistance include business planning, financial analysis, market research, loan packaging, growth and expansion, marketing and profitability.  

Consulting sessions will allow business owners to meet with an ASBTDC business consultant. Spots are limited for consulting sessions. 

— Thursday, Oct. 3, Robert Bahn, ASBTDC business consultant, will lead the seminar “Grow your Small Business,” from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce in Walnut Ridge, located at 109 Southwest Front St. Consulting sessions will be held from 1 until 3 p.m.  

— Tuesday, Oct. 8, Bahn will lead the class “Budgeting and Finance Basics for Your Business” from 10 a.m. until noon. Consulting sessions will also be held from 1 until 3 p.m. The events will take place at Arkansas Northeastern College in the Sullins Administration Building, room A101, located at 2501 South Division St.  

— Wednesday, Oct. 9, Laura Miller, ASBTDC director, will lead consulting sessions from 10 a.m. until noon at the Cherokee Village Innovation Hub, located at 7 East Cherokee Village Mall.  
 
— Tuesday, Oct. 15, Miller will lead consulting sessions from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at The G.I.N., located at 200-212 North Pruett St. in Paragould. 
 
— Tuesday, Oct. 22, Bahn will lead the class, “Blending Traditional Marketing and AI,” from 10 a.m. until noon, followed by consulting sessions from 1 until 3 p.m. at Arkansas Northeastern
College in the Sullins Administration Building, room A101, located at 2501 South Division St. 

— Tuesday, Oct. 29, Bahn alongside Clint Vogus, A-State instructor in management and author of “The Right Recipe for Entrepreneurial Success,” will lead an online coffee chat from 9 until 10:30 a.m.
