ASBTDC to Offer Free Assistance for Small Business Owners in July

JONESBORO – The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center at Arkansas State University will offer several opportunities for small business owners to learn about growing their business in July.  
  
ASBTDC provides one-to-one confidential guidance to business owners and entrepreneurs. Primary areas of assistance include business planning, financial analysis, market research, loan packaging, growth and expansion, marketing, and profitability.  

Business owners will have opportunities to attend consulting sessions and meet with an ASBTDC business consultant. Spots for consulting sessions are limited.  

Events will be held as follows:  

— Tuesday, July 2, Rheanna Branscum, ASBTDC business consultant, will lead consulting sessions from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in Cherokee Village at Spring River Innovation Hub, located at 7 East Cherokee Village Mall.  
 
— Tuesday, July 9, an online coffee chat will be led from 9 until 10:30 a.m. by Robert Bahn, ASBTDC business consultant and Clint Vogus, instructor of management and author of “The Right Recipe for Entrepreneurial Success.” 
  
— Thursday, July 11, Laura Miller, ASBTDC director, will lead consulting sessions from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Newport Area Chamber of Commerce Tech Depot at 209 Hazel St.  

— Tuesday, July 16, Miller will lead consulting sessions from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in Paragould at the Generating Innovative Network, which is located at 200-212 North Pruett St. 
 
— Thursday, July 25, Miller will lead consulting sessions from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in Pocahontas in room 103 of the Corporate and Community Education/Adult Education Complex at Black River Technical College, located at 1410 Highway 304 East.
