ASU Museum Celebrates Día de los Muertos, Nov. 3

JONESBORO – The public is invited to Arkansas State University Museum for the celebration of Día de los Muertos, the Hispanic Day of the Dead, on Tuesday, Nov. 3, from 5 until 7 p.m.  Admission is free.

Guests are welcome to come and enjoy Mexican food, face painting, live music provided by troubadour Ricardo Puello, and dancing.  Costumes are welcomed but not required.

Inside the main gallery, guests of all ages may enjoy "non-scary" skeleton-themed games, trick ‘r treating, and hands-on activities.

The interactive Día de los Muertos story time begins at 6 p.m.

Everyone is invited to join the ASU Museum staff and visitors from varied backgrounds for an evening of fun and festivities, according to Jill Kary, curator of education.
