ASU SBTDC to host Twitter for Business Marketing workshop June 21 in Jonesboro

JONESBORO — The Arkansas State University Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC) will hold a special seminar entitled, “Twitter for Business Marketing,” Thursday, June 21, from 1-4 p.m. in Room 110 at the ASU Delta Center for Economic Development building, 319 University Loop West.

“With social media booming for business owners, Twitter is another social media platform that small businesses can use to promote themselves,” said Herb Lawrence, director of the SBTDC.  “In this seminar, participants will learn how to create a Twitter account for their business and we will discuss how to make a Twitter page stand out and make a professional first impression.  We will also go over basic Twitter etiquette and how to engage your community and clients using this platform.

“By the end of the session, business owners will be tweeting their way to success! Be sure to bring your laptops, so you can follow along.”
