Chancellor Brings Commencement to Graduating Student
JONESBORO – Every Red Wolf Counts at Arkansas State University, including our online students.
Chancellor Kelly Damphousse made a surprise delivery this morning to one of A-State’s fall 2018 graduates who was unable to attend the commencement ceremony Saturday at First National Bank Arena.
Damphousse visits with Dara Still, a special education teacher at Blytheville High School. Still completed a Specialist in Education degree, with a concentration in educational leadership, through the A-State Online program.
Damphousse presented her with robe and academic hood, and congratulated her as her students looked on.
This was not the first time Damphousse made a delivery. In the fall of 2017, he found graduates in Little Rock and Marmaduke.
