Hundreds of Students Participate in 3rd Annual Create @ stAte Program
JONESBORO -- Approximately 300 undergraduate and graduate students presented their scholarly work and creative presentations Thursday during the third annual research event, “Create @ stAte: A Symposium of Research, Scholarship and Creativity.”
Sponsored by Arkansas State University’s Office of Research and Technology Transfer (ORTT), the various sessions, which represented a multitude of academic disciplines, attracted approximately 500 people, according to Cheryl Dison, director of research development.
Create @ stAte offers students the opportunity to present and share their research, scholarship or creative work in a professional and supportive setting. This program also acts as a platform for students, faculty and staff across the ASU campus to learn more about the variety of research, creative and scholarly projects occurring at ASU.
