Marketing to Millennials Seminar Coming

01/03/2017

JONESBORO — The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) has developed a new marketing seminar to assist small businesses in targeting the millennial generation. This seminar, “Marketing to Millennials,” is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 10, from 1-3 p.m. in the Delta Center for Economic Development, 319 University Loop Circle.

“We are excited to introduce this new marketing seminar,” said Laura Miller, center director for the ASBTDC. “We have created a unique and timely program that should be highly beneficial to our local small businesses as they learn marketing strategies and techniques that have the greatest impact on the millennial generation.

“The millennial generation is now the nation’s largest age group, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. These young adults, between the ages of 18-34, are digital natives with enormous social influence and purchasing power. Millennials dominate the workforce and the consumer market.”

The seminar is $45 and pre-registration is required. Call (870) 972-3517 or visit asbtdc.org/training/jonesboro-events to register. Reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities and individuals with limited English proficiency (LEP) will be made where possible upon request. Contact Kelli Listenbee, ASBTDC, P.O. Box 2650, State University, AR 72467 or email klee@AState.edu.
