JONESBORO — Arkansas State University’s rugby team will travel to the state capital to play the Little Rock Stormers Men’s Club, Saturday, Oct. 22, at 2 p.m., at the Little Rock Rugby Complex, 14301 Dineen Drive.
The Red Wolves, who started the season ranked seventh nationally, moved up to fourth in the latest poll by Goff Rugby Report. Undefeated at 3-0, A-State has beaten Arkansas, 55-0, in the season opener; knocked off Lindenwood-Belleville, 51-16; and picked up a 45-5 victory over LSU.
“I’m not too concerned with the rankings as much as I am our performance throughout the season,” said Shaun Potgieter, A-State head coach. “We are improving every game which is exactly what Coach Blake (White) and I are wanting to see out of the team. I am confident that we will peak at the right time.”
