Small Business Marketing, Funding, Highlighted in April ASBTDC Programming
JONESBORO – The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) at Arkansas State University will offer opportunities during April for small businesses to learn about funding, growing and marketing their company.
The ASBTDC provides one-to-one confidential guidance to business owners and entrepreneurs.
Primary areas of assistance include business planning, financial analysis, market research, loan packaging, growth and expansion, marketing and profitability.
The consulting sessions offer opportunities for business owners to meet with an ASBTDC business consultant.
The sessions and classes will take place as follows:
— Wednesday, April 9, Laura Miller, A-State ASBTDC director, will lead a “Funding Your Business” class from 1 until 2:30 p.m. at the Batesville Chamber of Commerce, 409 Vine St., Batesville.
— Thursday, April 10, Robert Bahn, ASBTDC business consultant, will lead a “Funding Your Business” class from 10 - 11:30 a.m. at the Generating Innovative Network, 200-212 N. Pruett St., Paragould.
— Thursday, April 10, Laura Miller, A-State ASBTDC Director, will lead consulting sessions from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Newport Chamber Tech Depot, 209 Hazel St., Newport.
— Wednesday, April 16, Destiny Adams, ASBTDC business consultant, will lead a “Digital Marketing Playbook for Small Business” class from 10 until 11:30 a.m. at Black River Technical College, in the Corporate and Community Education Adult Education Complex, Room 103, 1410 Highway 304 E., Pocahontas.
There is no charge to attend any A-State ASBTDC events, but registration is required. To register, call 870-972-3517. Spots are limited for the consulting sessions.
