Symphonic Winds and Percussion Ensemble in fall concert
JONESBORO – The A-State Symphonic Winds and Percussion Ensemble will present the groups’ fall concert on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 7:30 p.m. in Fowler Center, Riceland Hall. This concert is free and open to the public.
The Symphonic Winds program will include performances of “Caccia and Chorale” by Clifton Williams, “…And the Antelope Play” by John Carnahan, “Havendance” by David Holsinger, and “The Chimes of Liberty” by Edwin Franko Goldman.
The Percussion Ensemble's program will include performances of “Mas Fuerte” by Stephen Rush, “Chasing Shadows” by Ivan Trevino, “Bloom” by Ivan Trevino, “Stompin Grounds” by Bela Fleck and arranged by Hearnes.
