Walk ‘N’ Roll the A-State Pac Paths, Saturday, Oct. 11
JONESBORO – Join Arkansas State on Saturday, Oct. 11, for the first Walk ‘N’ Roll. The event will take place through campus on the PAC Paths from 8 to 10:30 a.m.
This summer, Arkansas State created Pedestrian and Cyclist (PAC) Paths throughout the campus. This October the university will be hosting the first Walk ‘N’ Roll. During this event, participants are encouraged to dress like university spirit characters Howl and Scarlet or in their favorite Halloween costumes and complete challenges as they travel the paths.
When participating in the challenges that are spread along the course, one will notice that a few A-State departments are hosting the activities along the PAC Paths. Each department is responsible for creating an activity that encourages and heightens school spirit, while also staying true to their unique talents and interests.
Special prizes for group participants, best costumes and best decorated bike will be awarded. The grand prize is a bicycle. Costume and best decorated bike prizes were donated by local businesses. Campus organizers encourage everyone to participate in this free event.
