What are privately funded scholarships?

Privately Funded Scholarships are funded by individual donors, corporations, or private companies that want to give back to Arkansas State and its students.

How does the portal work?

The A-State Privately Funded Scholarship Portal is a single application that can match students with any scholarship they may be eligible for. Traditionally, the portal is open from October 1 until February 1 during the academic year. Students must resubmit an application each year to be considered.

Who qualifies for these scholarships?

Private scholarships have varying criteria and can be based on college, major, GPA, state residency, graduation from a specific high school, county, or extracurricular activities, to name a few.
