Biography
Dr. Paula Ruby is a Professor in the Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics at Arkansas State University and has been here 20 years. Paula has published several articles and written textbooks for microcomputer applications. Most recently she has co-authored with Dr. Ralph Ruby, Decoding Note-Taking Abbreviations and Symbols Using a Mobile Device, Psychology Research. She has also co-authored with Dr. Ralph Ruby an article in the Journal of Business and Economics, Note-Taking Skills: Everybody Needs Them. She and Ralph have also written apps for the iPad and iPhone entitled Ruby Translator, Texting Champ and Keyboarding Champ, and Class Notes. Academic Texting Champion and ASTATE Academic Keyboarding Champion. They have recently been awarded a Patent, titled TRANSLATOR.
