Biography
Dr. Gibson is originally from Cleveland, Ohio where she received her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Ashland University and her Master of Science in Nursing from The Ohio State University with a specialty in Psychiatry and Mental Health. Following her graduate training, Dr. Gibson completed the 2016-2017 PMHNP Residency program through the Veterans Affairs Boston Healthcare System and Boston College. She worked for the Veteran Affairs Healthcare System for many years. Dr. Gibson’s passion for helping Veteran’s stemmed from her own military experience. Prior to nursing Dr. Gibson served in the United States Army Reserve for six years and deployed with the 706th Transportation Company to Iraq in 2004 where she hauled fuel as a heavy vehicle operator. Dr. Gibson currently teaches in the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner online program.
