Biography

Dr. Mahmudul Hasan is a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, CoE, Arkansas State University (A-State), Jonesboro, AR, United States. Dr. Hasan received his Ph.D. degree from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas in 2022. Prior Ph.D., he obtained one bachelor’s and two master’s degrees from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh and Texas Tech University (TTU), Texas, respectively. During his Ph.D. studies, he worked as an instructor in the dept. of Physics and astrophysics, TTU. In addition to this, he worked on a national science foundation (NSF) project to bring resiliency and reliability in smart grid applications. His post academic appointments include R&D engineer at X-Fab, Texas and now currently serving the dept. of Electrical Engineering, CoE, A-State as an assistant professor.  As a faculty member, he hopes to create a platform where students of different races and ethnicities can express themselves and exchange perspectives on teaching and research with their peers.
