Biography

Jennifer Salo is the Director of the Emerging Scholars Program at A-State. She works with students applying for nationally competitive awards and opportunities, and directs the Chancellor’s Leadership Class and the Red Wolf Works experiential learning program. Ms. Salo has been working with high-achieving students at A-State since 2015, and she enjoys introducing students to new opportunities and coaching them through the process. She has master’s degrees in History and Library Science. Ms. Salo lives in Jonesboro with her husband, Dr. Ed Salo, who teaches history and heritage studies at A-State, and they have a son, Cameron, who is a student at A-State.
