A United States History minor is a great addition to any degree. You can shape it to fit a myriad of interests, whether those are in culture, politics, the environment, or the material development of our societies. Most any type of work and decision making benefits from historical thinking. Additionally, learning the history of the United States is foundational for understanding the rights and obligations of U.S. citizenship, current events, and the place of America in its global and temporal contexts.
