The M.S.E. Mathematics degree program provides students with advanced study in mathematics and educational theory and practice. The program is designed for mathematics teachers who have completed professional education courses including the requirements for a valid teaching certificate based on a four-year teacher education program. Teachers gain experience and knowledge in higher-level mathematics to enhance their teaching with additional depth and breadth of content. At the same time, they enhance their professional education background with advanced courses in curriculum and instructional practices.
