A-State Crowns Homecoming King and Queen

JONESBORO– It was an out-of-this-world weekend at Arkansas State University for the “Inter-HOWL-atic,” Homecoming celebrations.
Jonathan Schaufler, a senior nursing major from Salem, nominated by Phi Delta Theta, was named the Homecoming King.
Amber Yates, a senior communication studies major from Salem, nominated by Phi Delta Theta, was crowned Homecoming Queen.
They were announced during halftime of the Red Wolves’ conference game victory against the South Alabama Jaguars.
Five-year-old Camryn Callahan of Jonesboro served as Little Miss A-State. She is the daughter of Carter and Hillary Callahan.
Five-year-old Jack Fleming of Jonesboro served as Little Mr. A-State. He is the son of Josh and Addie Fleming.
The 10-member Homecoming Court featured five females and five males.
The court took part in an interview while the student body voted on Oct. 3 for their pick for king and queen.
